The Crafty Tech Tank ("the Tank," "we," "us") is operated by The Crafty Tech Guy, 7311 Hwy 329, Suite 902, Crestwood, KY 40014. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website (thecraftytechtank.com), our community, and our mobile app, and how we use it.

Information We Collect

  • Account information: your name, email address, and password when you join. You may also choose to add a phone number or profile photo.
  • Payment information: paid memberships are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number. We receive limited details such as your plan, payment status, and the last four digits of your card.
  • Content you share: posts, comments, photos, and messages you share in the community.
  • Usage and device information: basic information such as device type, operating system, app version, and pages or lessons viewed, used to keep the service running and improve it.
  • Push notification tokens: if you allow notifications in the app, a device token so we can send you alerts. You can turn notifications off anytime in your device settings.

How We Use Your Information

  • To create and manage your account and membership.
  • To give you access to the community, classes, and live training included in your plan.
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions, trials, and cancellations.
  • To send you emails and notifications about your account, membership, and Tank updates. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
  • To answer your questions and provide support.
  • To keep the service safe and working properly.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Tank, such as our membership and email platform (HighLevel/LeadConnector), our payment processor (Stripe), and hosting providers. They may use your information only to provide services to us. We may also share information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our members.

Content you post in the community can be seen by other members of the community.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Data Retention

We keep your information while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we must keep certain records (such as payment and tax records) to meet legal obligations.

Your Choices and Rights

  • Access or update: you can update your profile in the app or ask us for a copy of your information.
  • Delete your account: email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my account." See our Support page for details.
  • Marketing emails: use the unsubscribe link in any email.
  • Notifications: turn push notifications off in your device settings.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, and payments are handled by Stripe's secure systems. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.

Children's Privacy

The Tank is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the effective date above, and for significant changes we'll let members know by email or in the app.
